HOW IT WORKS

How it works

You choose the criteria. Wizer Invest compares them with objective characteristics of an investment and shows where it fits, and where it doesn't.

THE MODEL

You choose. We compare.

A result only describes how well an investment fits the criteria you set yourself. It is not a rating and not a recommendation.

One criterion, step by step

  1. 1You chose XExample: you set a limit for annual costs of at most 0.30%.
  2. 2The investment has characteristic YExample: the fund reports annual costs of 0.20%.
  3. 3So the criterion gets result Z0.20% is below your limit, so the criterion is met and counts in X / Y. Had the figure been 0.45%, it would be not met. Had the fund not reported a figure at all, it would show “Not enough data” and be kept out of X / Y.

How to read the result

  • X / Y is your own choices

The number shows how many of the criteria you answered the investment respects. It is not a measure of quality.

  • “No limit” counts

If you deliberately choose “No limit” or “No preference”, that is a valid answer and counts as met. Questions you have not answered do not count at all.

  • Missing data counts neither for nor against

If an investment does not report a figure, the criterion shows “Not enough data” and is kept out of X / Y. This is always explained on the page.

  • Exclusions are always clearly shown

If you have excluded a region or theme and the investment still hits it, it is highlighted — no matter how the rest looks.

  • The order in search

A met criterion counts 1, a partly met one 0.5. Broken exclusions are placed last. Every investment is always shown; nothing is hidden.

  • Historical returns are information only

1, 3 and 5-year figures and the largest drawdown never enter the match and do not affect the order. Past performance is no guarantee of future returns.

Data in this version

In this version, the characteristics of investments and historical returns are demo data. They show how the tool calculates — not a complete picture of the real market.

When a closing price is fetched from a market data source, both the source and price date are shown with the investment. A stored price is reused across the app and is not a buy or sell recommendation.
